ScotFail is an asymmetrical multiplayer alt controller game where one player has a junction box made out of an Arduino, LEDs and cardboard. The other person is looking at a screen showing trains going down a track. The 2 people have to work together get the correct trains into their stations by talking to each other because one player cannot see the trains but controls the track directions and the other player can see the trains but cannot control the tracks.
This was made by using an Unreal engine plugin to read the console output from the Arduino. I was the programmer working in Unreal and the Arduino. This was made during the 2019 Global Game Jam and got voted best design and best tech in the after party.
